The Culinary Trail Consortium officially commenced its transformative journey with a milestone online meeting on February 16, 2024. Esteemed partners representing 14 countries in the Danube region convened to mark the initiation of the ambitious Culinary Trail project.

The meeting delved into the Specific Objectives (SO) aligned with the three main project goals. SO1 focuses on safeguarding culinary heritage, SO2 focuses on thriving culinary heritage, and SO3 underscores the Culinary Trail as an innovation platform for culinary tourism.

Partners engaged in insightful discussions on specific activities within each objective. This included the development of a comprehensive digital catalogue of culinary heritage and establishing of an innovation center, showcasing the meticulous planning and commitment invested by each consortium member.

Presentations on project management, communication, and financial reporting emphasized the importance of robust organisational frameworks. The meeting underscored the significance of regular monthly meetings, efficient online collaboration platforms, and meticulous financial reporting for the project’s success.
