Acquiring the professional title of: Bachelor of Economics (baccalareus/baccalaurea)

Place of studies: Gospić, Bana Ivana Karlovića 16.

The basic objective is the training of experts to work in business and achieve knowledge and skills in business entrepreneurship. The specific objective is related to the training of handling business opportunities and other economic entities.

The study of the Economics of Entrepreneurship runs in six semesters and lasts three years. The sixth semester includes professional practice and writing of the final thesis. It is performed as both a full-time study and part-time study. All course activities are evaluated in accordance with the ECTS system. The course activities of each semester are equal to 30 ECTS points, so that the student until the end of undergraduate program must achieve a total of 180 ECTS points.

Expected learning outcomes of the Professional Study of Road Transport

  1. Manage business planning processes according to the principles of innovative entrepreneurship and sustainable financing
  2. Choose information communication technology tools for efficient and fast performance of business processes
  3. Communicate with professionals and the general public in an acceptable and comprehensible manner using appropriate communication channels
  4. Critically argue the application of business ethics in organizations in solving ethical dilemmas, in the context of external and internal business factors
  5. Choose an option to lead a group of people who cooperate with each other in order to achieve a common goal
  6. Create an offer of products and services according to the needs of the target market
  7. Manage business entities applying the principles of corporate social responsibility
  8. Valorize the methods and instruments of financial and accounting management to optimize operations and achieve long-term sustainable financial stability of the organization
  9. Present a marketing plan based on the key components of a marketing concept that is adapted to the environment and needs of clients
  10. Evaluate business decisions based on the results of quantitative analyzes used in the design and interpretation of business models in the microeconomic and macroeconomic environment
  11. Assess business risks using analytical tools and methods
  12. Choose elements of business communication in Croatian and foreign languages
  13. Management of business processes using digital tools
  14. Determine managerial and organizational skills for successful management of business entities
  15. To justify the profitability of the project of sustainable entrepreneurship financed by institutional grants
  16. Critically judge the legal forms of economic entities in the Republic of Croatia
  17. Choose the sources and structure of personal and business financing in the domestic and international environment in accordance with trends in the financial markets
  18. Predict the effects of monetary and fiscal policy on the business result of the organization
  19. Apply the skills of learning and researching professional literature necessary for lifelong learning and continuing professional development
  20. Create a stimulating competitive environment for the purpose of personal and professional development of individuals and teams
  21. Develop self-discipline, work habits and positive attitudes and thinking

Professional practice

Instructions and forms for semester-long professional practice

Students of the third (3rd) year of the professional study Economics of Entrepreneurship have an obligation in the 6th semester to complete the Semester professional practice, lasting 2 months (45 working days). Students are obliged to complete the internship in the period of 4th. of March 2024. until 31st. of May 2024.

Zašto je dobro studirati na Velegs?
Iz jednostavnih razloga : izvrsnost predavanja ogleda se da pored teoretskog dijela velika pozornost polaže se na praktičnu primjenu znanja, i kao rezultat imamo primjere studenata koji su vrlo uspješni u daljnjem školovanju i ostvarivanju velikih ciljeva. Uz navedeno Veleučilište “Nikola Tesla” u Gospiću može biti na primjer ostalim učilištima, gdje student uz fakultetske obveze može svoje slobodno vrijeme iskoristiti za učenje kroz seminare, uključiti se u razne humanitarne akcije, sudjelovati u sportskim aktivnostima i slično.
Nadalje uzimam sebe kao primjer stipendirane studentice, dobitnice Dekanove nagrade po drugi puta, dobitnice priznanja grada Gospića za postignute rezultate u visokoškolskom obrazovanju te kao predsjednice Studentskog zbora imam čast raditi za Dejana Lovrena u Joel hotelu u Novalji.
Uz prepoznati kvalitet želim nastaviti ovim putem i jednog dana vratiti se na svoje matično učilište i biti dio tima koje će u budućnosti dovesti Veleučilište do izbora broj jedan za svakog studenta.
