
Erasmus+ visit to the Faculty of Economics in Prilep, Republic of North Macedonia
Study Records employees Maja Tomaić Serdar and Marina Jurčić, together with Quality Coordinator Katarina Bubaš Grandić and Head of the Karst Center Ivan Barković, participated in mobility within the Erasmus+ program and stayed in the Republic of North Macedonia from March 31 to April 4. During the study visit, the host was the Faculty of Economics in Prilep at the University “St. Kliment Ohridski”, Bitola, where our employees had the opportunity to exchange experiences, learn about examples of good practice, and strengthen cooperation between institutions.
During the visit, meetings were organized with colleagues from various departments of the partner institution. In the student office, experiences were exchanged on managing student documentation, digitizing enrollment procedures and communicating with students. Special emphasis is placed on practical solutions for improving user support for students and modernizing administrative processes.
The Quality Assurance Office discussed methods for monitoring student and staff satisfaction, as well as the internal evaluation system. Tools used in the assessment of the teaching process and strategies for continuous improvement of the quality of work of a higher education institution were presented.
The IT service presented its technological solutions and systems that support daily operations – from information systems for data management to security protocols and IT support for users. Experiences were exchanged about digital records, the use of the cloud in an academic environment, and the integration of new software solutions.
The Project Service presented a number of current and completed EU projects, with an emphasis on the preparation of documentation, implementation of project activities and reporting to competent authorities. The possibilities of joint applications for future calls for proposals under the Erasmus+ programme and other international funds were also discussed.
In addition to the official part of the program, participants had the opportunity to learn about the cultural and historical heritage of Macedonia, including visits to landmarks and local institutions.
This mobility is part of the ongoing efforts of the Polytechnic of Gospić to strengthen international cooperation and contribute to the professional development of all employees through the exchange of experiences and good practices.
