Guest lecture on the Analysis of Entrepreneurial Ideas at the Nikola Tesla Polytechnic

In hall no. 6 “Nikola Tesla” Polytechnic in Gospić, 4. December 2024 year, an invited guest lecture was held as part of the Entrepreneurship course at the professional graduate study program Entrepreneurship in Tourism . The lecture was part of the course Analyzing the Advantages and Disadvantages of Your Own Entrepreneurial Idea in an Entrepreneurial Environment .

The guest lecturer was Mr. Marijan Krmpotić, president of the Advisory Council of the Polytechnic and director of the company KROMA doo , who shared his rich experience in the world of entrepreneurship with the students. During the lecture, Mr. Krmpotić analyzed the key factors that influence the success of entrepreneurial ideas, and shared his experiences in identifying advantages and disadvantages in business initiatives, especially in the context of tourism.

He encouraged students to focus on thorough market analyses, understanding competition, and identifying opportunities for innovation. He emphasized the importance of adapting business ideas to the dynamic entrepreneurial environment and market, as well as the necessity of developing business plans that take into account the real challenges that entrepreneurs face.

Through interactive discussion, students had the opportunity to ask questions and receive concrete advice on how to structure and test their own entrepreneurial ideas and how to deal with the uncertainties of the entrepreneurial journey.
