Invited public lecture: Inclusivity as the foundation of sustainable tourism
The “Nikola Tesla” Polytechnic in Gospić invites students, tourism professionals and the interested public to an invited public lecture to be held in Tuesday, June 10, 2025 starting at 3:30 p.m. in the premises of the Polytechnic.
The lecture will be given by Ivana Delač Tomljanović, director of the Karlobag Municipality Tourist Board and one of the European experts for inclusive tourism. She is currently actively involved in the European Capital of Smart Tourism project, in the accessibility category.
The topic of the lecture will be “The Importance of Inclusivity in Tourism“, with special emphasis on:
- the role of an inclusive approach in shaping tourist services,
- how accessibility contributes to the quality of experience for all visitors,
- why inclusivity is one of the key priorities in the sustainable development of tourism.
The lecture is open to everyone, and is especially recommended for students studying tourism and related fields.
