
The 4th meeting of the Management Board of the Culinary trail project
From November 2 to 6, 2025, Sarajevo has become a vibrant center of cooperation, innovation and cultural exchange in the Danube region. The project Culinary Path of Ethnic and Local Cuisine in the Danube Region actively participated in two key events: the 4th meeting of the Steering Committee (SCOM), the DTC ceremony and the 14th annual forum of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region (EUSDR).
4th Steering Committee Meeting (SCOM) — November 4, 2025.
The meeting was held in HUB387/Academy 387, and the hosts were SERDA (Sarajevo Economic Region Development Agency) and RAIS (East Sarajevo City Development Agency), and the main partner was the Faculty of Advanced Social Studies (SASS).
The partners reviewed progress in the preservation and digitization of culinary heritage, the development of a transnational strategy for ethnic cuisines, the creation of a sustainable tourism model and the strengthening of the Culinary Route brand.
Key agenda items included:
- Overview of the Ethnic Culinary Trail of the Danube Region and its digital components,
- Presentation of the Transnational Strategy for the Protection and Development of Culinary Heritage,
- Updates on the Culinary Trail Festival and the Demonstration and Training Center,
- Tools for sustainability and preparations for the Transnational Action Plan.
