The LEGO workshop delighted students as part of the Tesla Power of Lights event
Co-organized by the Tourist Board of the City of Gospić and the “Nikola Tesla” Polytechnic in Gospić, and as part of the Tesla Power of Lights event, an educational LEGO workshop aimed at students was held today at the “Nikola Tesla” Polytechnic. 5. and 6th grade of elementary school.
The workshop was attended by 24 students who had the opportunity to build, program and test robots using LEGO educational kits. The workshop was led by experts and staff from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing (FER) in Zagreb, who introduced the students to the basics of robotics and programming through an interactive and fun approach.
The children were especially excited when their robots “came to life” and began to move according to the instructions given. The great interest, enthusiasm and delight shown by the students are proof of how much this kind of content can stimulate curiosity and a love for science and technology from a very early age.
This workshop is another successful example of how the Tesla Power of Lights event combines Nikola Tesla’s scientific heritage with modern technologies and youth education, which encourages the development of creativity, logical thinking and teamwork among the youngest.
