ŽKK Ragusa is the champion of Croatia – congratulations to our student Lina Strilić!

For the fourth year in a row, Ragusa is the best women’s team in Croatia. In the fifth decisive game of the playoff finals, the girls from Dubrovnik won 56:49 in Zagreb at Trešnjevka as guests, and with a total score of 3-2 in the series, they won the new title.

The start of the last quarter was marked by Lina Strilić, who scored two consecutive three-pointers and started the series 13:0. For more than seven minutes, Trešnjevka 2009 remained without a basket, so Hajdin, Todorić and Carmen Miloglav led Ragusa to +9 (50:41). Nina Novak restores the host’s brief hope with six consecutive points, but Miloglav with a basket and an additional throw and Perić confirm the victory of Ragusa for another great celebration.
